APPLICATION PERIOD ENDS DEC. 17th
MEET & GREETS
After applications are reviewed by the HG Festival's Board, accepted artists will be invited to HG Meet & Greets at local venues.
The Meet & Greets are designed for neighborhood artists of all disciplines to connect & network, and begin discussing potential collaborations.
Artists who already know their collaborating partner(s) do not have to attend, but it is strongly suggested.
Final HG Premieres Proposals are due March 11th.
Each collaboration must have at least 2 lead artists of differing disciplines.
The project must be a stage performance based.
The project must be respectful of the venue & family friendly audience.
The formal announcement of accepted HG Premieres projects will be made March 17th, 2019.
Each HG Premieres collaboration must have at least 2 Lead Artists of differing disciplines, and it must be a stage-based production.
Chosen HG Premieres will each receive HG Festival provided local workspace, a $500 project stipend, non profit benefits, and artistic advisory (if requested).
Lead Artists will have full responsibility of scheduling, maintaining project progression, disbursement of stipend and producing a polished final product.
If a collaboration is in need of addtional artists, aka actors, dancers, musicians, then Lead Artists will have access to our database of applicants who applied as "Participating Artists".
HG Festival Directors will conduct check-ins of the project's progress during the months of May and June.
HG Premieres must be presented June 2020.
